Terms of your stay. 

At Bristol Short Stays, we want all of our guests to have a fun and enjoyable stay. To help ensure that this happens, we have implemented some house rules and terms for your stay. We understand that rules can be boring, but they are important for ensuring that everyone has a good time and stays safe.

We will provide you with a link to our terms and conditions via email, regardless of whether you book via Airbnb, Booking.com, or directly with us. As part of our verification process, we will ask you to provide your phone number and email for identity verification. Failure to do so will invalidate your booking, and you will not be provided access to the property.

We have implemented this verification process due to a high volume of guest misconduct and fraud issues in the industry. We hope that you understand the need for these measures, as they allow us to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all of our guests to enjoy.

Parties and gatherings.

No parties are permitted in the house. Parties will be evicted.

Noise

To ensure that all of our guests have a peaceful and comfortable stay, we kindly ask that you refrain from playing loud music in the house after 9 pm. To monitor noise levels, we use a device that measures sound levels in decibels (dB), called a Minut.

Please note that any noise level above 70dB will be considered loud music, and if we detect excessive noise, we will ask you to reduce the volume. If the excessive noise continues or if the device is tampered with, we reserve the right to ask you to leave the property. If your stay is canceled due to excessive noise, no refund will be provided.

We hope that you understand the need for this policy, as it allows us to ensure a peaceful and comfortable environment for all of our guests to enjoy.

Guests 

To ensure the comfort and safety of all our guests, we kindly ask that you do not invite any additional guests beyond the maximum occupancy limit specified for the property.

If we discover that additional guests have been staying on the property without our prior knowledge, we reserve the right to charge you for the additional guests at a rate equivalent to the nightly rate for each additional guest.

Booking age

No under 18s in the properties without a parent at all times. You need to be over 21 years old to book with us.

No smoking

We kindly ask that you refrain from smoking anywhere on the property, as it is not only a health hazard, but it also creates unpleasant odors that can be difficult to remove.

If we detect any evidence of smoking during your stay, we will need to charge a cleaning fee of £100 to cover the costs of removing the smoke and odor from the property.

Eating and Drinking

We kindly ask that you do not eat or drink in the bedrooms during your stay. We want to ensure that the space remains clean, comfortable, and free from any unpleasant odors or stains.

If any damages to the linen or carpets occur due to spillages, we will need to charge you for the cost of the damages.

Damage 

We want to make sure that you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay at our property, and we kindly ask that you take care not to damage the property or furnishings during your stay.

In the unfortunate event that damage does occur, we will assess the cost of the damage and deduct it from your security deposit. If the cost of the damage exceeds the amount of the security deposit, we will bill you through your booking platform for the additional cost.

We hope that you understand the need for this policy, as it allows us to ensure that our property remains in top condition for all of our guests to enjoy.

Check-ins and Checkouts 

If you need to check in earlier than our standard check-in time, please let us know as soon as possible, and we'll do our best to accommodate you. We want to get you settled in as soon as we can so that you can start enjoying your stay right away. While we can't always guarantee early check-in, we'll always try our best to make it happen whenever possible.

Please keep in mind that we need time to prepare our property for the next guest's arrival, so we can only offer an hour earlier or later for check-in. This way, we can ensure that the space is cleaned, fresh, and ready for your arrival.

We don't charge any extra fees for early check-in, and it's always first come, first served. So, please get in touch with us as soon as possible, and we'll do our best to accommodate your needs.

illegal drugs.

We take the safety and well-being of our guests very seriously, and we want to ensure that everyone has a safe and enjoyable stay at our property. To maintain a safe and comfortable environment, we do not allow any illegal substances on our premises.

If any evidence of illegal substance use is found on the property, including the use of Nitrous balloons, it will result in the forfeiture of your damage deposit. We kindly ask that you respect our policy and refrain from using any illegal substances during your stay.

Pets 

We know that pets are a part of the family, and we're thrilled to welcome them to some of our properties. However, before bringing your furry friend along, please check with us in advance to ensure that our property is pet-friendly.

Generally, we allow one small, well-behaved dog or cat. We don't charge a pet fee, but we do have some policies in place to ensure that everyone has a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

To start with, we kindly ask that you don't allow your pets to sleep on the white bed linen. We want to make sure that our guests can enjoy a fresh, clean space, free from pet hair and odors.

Additionally, if your pet causes any cleaning or damage issues, we'll kindly ask you to cover the costs of those repairs. This way, we can continue to provide high-quality accommodation for all of our guests.

Finally, we kindly ask that you clean up any dog mess in the gardens. Our cleaners are not there to clean up after pets, and we want to make sure that the outdoor space is always clean and pleasant for all of our guests to enjoy.

Furniture

We kindly ask that you don't rearrange the furniture during your stay. Our team works hard to ensure that the space is comfortable and functional for our guests, and rearranging the furniture can make their job more difficult.
